Pre-Built Components

Editorial Feed

A reading-first editorial component pattern inspired by the calm pacing and clarity of the Resend blog.

Use this pattern when the reading experience matters more than promotional density. It is a good fit for product essays, launch stories, team notes, and long-form updates that need clean rhythm and strong typography.

Best for

  • launch posts and product updates;
  • editorial essays and team notes;
  • simple article pages with strong reading flow; and
  • a blog surface you can adapt to your own brand system.

Install

Start with these building blocks:

  • a featured article hero;
  • a compact article list for recent posts;
  • author and publish metadata;
  • rich text body with code blocks and quotes; and
  • related post links at the bottom of the article.

The CMS model should at minimum provide:

  • title;
  • slug;
  • excerpt;
  • published date;
  • author reference;
  • optional cover image; and
  • rich content body.

Usage

Use Editorial Feed when you want one strong featured story and a quiet supporting archive around it. Keep the list density low, avoid heavy sidebar noise, and let each article carry more narrative weight.

This pattern should feel branded by typography, spacing, and image treatment, not by complex chrome.

Inspiration

This pattern is based on the editorial restraint and reading flow associated with Resend's content design, but it should be implemented as your own component system rather than as a visual clone.
